Passageways Is Thankful For...

 

It's nearing the end of the day here at the Passageways office, but before we sign off for the holiday, we wanted to share a little bit of what we are thankful for this year.

1. Our customers.

Our customers are our family. We don't just appreciate your business, we appreciate your friendship, your compassion, and your creativity. You also help pay the bills!

2. Our Software.

10 years ago Passageways was just an idea in the minds of two young, innovative college students. They wanted to create software that would foster communication and collaboration within an organization regardless of your technical skill level. We have grown a lot since then, but our core ideology remains the same. As we continue to grow, year after year, it is that core idea that keeps us moving.

3. Your Ideas.

It isn't often that someone can boast that an idea they presented to a vendor turned into a reality. Our software is continuously honed and improved with the help of your ideas and feedback. It takes a village and we have the best villagers.

4. An opportunity to add value, big or small, to our customer's lives.

You may not know it, but there is nothing that makes us more happy than when a customer shares a problem they solved using our software. CommuniTree is filled with examples of customers using a portal to think outside the box and achieve something great. There is no better feeling than knowing something you created is making a difference.

5. Our Community

Just a couple of years ago we launched a new project for our customers. CommuniTree, as it's now called, is a veritable gold mine of information and collaboration. More so than the information we garner from our community, we appreciate seeing so many be able to collaborate together and come up with new ideas for old problems.

6. Fun

We are a young company, and we like to have fun. We are thankful that our customers are willing to have fun with us at events like PowWOW and University Week. It isn't often than you come home to a Facebook friend request from a customer, or likewise, a vendor.

7. The opportunity to get challenged everyday because our stuff matters.

Pathfinders are passionate people. We care about our customers and we care about what we do. Every day we come into the office we are saying "challenge accepted." That takes courage and commitment, but those are two things that come naturally to a passionate person. We are thankful to be working with friends and family that help to make a difference.

8. Above all - the chance to try. To fail. To try again and flail around. Then, with some luck, to flourish.

We listen to our customers every day, and every day we make decisions based on what we think will work best. Brace yourselves... sometimes we don't get it right. We are thankful for the patience and understanding of our customers when the unspeakable happens, even if we don't deserve it. We pick ourselves back up, shake loose the dirt, and get back to work.

We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Passageways will be out of the office on Thursday and Friday, but you know how to follow along after hours!
