Upcoming Peer Webinar - Board Collaboration for the Progressive Company
Join us at 2:00pm EST, July 29, to see what Xceed Financial (formerly Xerox Federal Credit Union) did when it saw this huge drain on resources and sought out a modern solution. They identified that they needed a central, secure place where all of their information packets (they call them "databooks" over there) could be downloaded. They didn't want to spend any more time and money on printing. Michael Primbsch and Tom Nakagiri of Xceed Financial will be discussing why they chose a Passageways Board Portal Solution and what it's done for their day-to-day interactions with their board. Extensive Q&A will follow the webinar presentation where attendees can ask the tough questions. Register now so you do not miss the rare opportunity to experience a thriving board portal by an progressive credit union. Limited seating is available.

New Product Unveiled - Vendor Management Application
A typical financial institution nowadays can have over 1,000 vendor contacts, either active or inactive. Keeping track of that many renewal dates and compliance requirements could be the work of an entire department; however, Passageways offers a solution that lets you nearly automate your vendors. The Passageways Vendor Management Application takes away the headaches of multiple renewal dates and ever-changing regulatory compliance requirements. One intuitive, secure storage space will encompass all of your vendor contacts, and the due diligence island will ensure you will never forget another renewal date or compliance form again.
The first 5 signed customers will receive Vendor Management Application for the discounted introductory rate! Two have already signed, so only 3 more remain! Act now to lock in this limited offer and start enjoying simpler vendor management today.
About the Vendor Management Application
The Passageways Vendor Management Application helps you solve the three pressing problems of maintaining healthy vendor relationships.
- Keep track of the hundreds of vendor contacts in a searchable, categorized rolodex. Mark your favorites or browse the master file to find the right contact for the right situation.
- Risk categories ensure that not all vendors are treated equally. Ensure compliance through customizable checklists, allowing for either text entry or document upload. The checklists will remind you if they are incomplete, so you will never be left without every piece of information, even during regulatory changes.
- Auditing allows you to take the top-level view of the entire vendor network that you manage. Check renewal dates and compliance for all of your vendors in a single window, and reminders can be sent when important renewal dates approach. Due diligence has never been this easy.
Built for the financial vendor manager in mind, the Passageways Vendor Management Application will take the complicated network of vendors and simplify it into a satisfying automated system.
Upcoming Vendor Management Demos
A member of our internal sales team will be demonstrating the Vendor Management Application at the following dates/times:
Attend a session and see how intuitively the Vendor Management Application will simplify your vendor network.
Passageways in the News

The Passageways company and products have won 12 awards in the past six years. We are happy to share that we have been recently listed in the 2009 "Indiana Companies to Watch" list. Local news network WLFI featured Passageways on the event of the announcement of this award. You can see the article and video on the WLFI website.
That's right, Passageways is seeking four talented professionals to fill in our growing need for talent in developing intranet solutions. Details concerning experience and skill requirements are located here. Interested developers should be familiar with ASP.NET and ideally have experience working in a collaborative design environment. However, we will not be hiring people without a senses of humor or a strong desire to be challenged. Sorry, but that's simply not our type. Boring software development is not allowed here. Visit our careers page and apply today.

Upcoming Peer Webinar: Why Partner with Passageways?

On June 24th at 2:00pm, Stephan Fluhler, CTO of First Merchants Corporation (NASDAQ: FRME) will be hosting a Webinar to provide some thoughts on this subject. By giving you an all-access pass to his deployment of Passageways products, Stephan will share FMC's perspective and help bring some context from his company's perspective on why FMC partnered with Passageways. Attendance is expected to be high, so Webinar seats are available on a first-come basis. Click here to reserve your place today to ensure you will not miss this Peer Webinar
City National Bank, based out of Lawton, OK conducted a peer webinar on May 27 on how they use their portal to "Entice, Engage, Enlist; Getting Users to the Portal and Keeping Them There " The presenter, Julie Hedrick, is CNB's portal czaress and a captivating speaker. In June, her portal will have been live for almost a year, yet it already exemplifies an industry best practice. Over 50 people caught this live, but if you weren't one of them here's the key points you missed: Read the rest of this article
Not to be outdone by their sister bank, Fort Still National Bank hosted a peer webinar of their own on May 28. Ruthy Dailey and Mylinda McClure, a double threat of portal power, discussed "Bridging the Communications Gap" to an audience of over 35. Instead of an in-depth topical presentation like some of our former webinars, this was a more general look into various business process automations that the portal can entail. Immediately following the presentation, the duo fielded a variety of Q&A and demonstrated their mastery of all things portal (or intranet). Out hats are off to them both. Passageways Congratulates Matt Magurany on 5 Years!
It's always an honor to recognize somebody who has been there from the very beginning, or close enough to count. Matt Magurany just celebrated his five year anniversary of working with Passageways. Matt has become the grim specter that haunts the software development office, whispering something about development sprints and threatening interns with all-night coding sessions. His favorite project was designing the portal framework due to the challenges of working on a project used by so many people. Here's to Matt Magurany for good health and happiness and another 5 years with Passageways!

Comments from Attendees!
I wanted to send a follow-up today to let you know once more how very impressed I was with PowWow 2009 and the Passageways team. The conference was filled with interesting material and FUN, which I think is important for a conference that has potential to be filled with a lot of technical content. (not that I was "personally" bothered by that). The development track was very good, and I was impressed with Steven and the certification course. The accommodations were absolutely awesome! I think you ought to look at the Embassy Suites every year for this venue.
In short, I really didn't see anything at the Conference I would have recommended be changed -- except maybe more people show up at the hospitality suite! :) But I made some great new contacts; I also thought making all (or most all) of the staff available at this year's gig TOTALLY rocked! Overall, a wonderful experience and I look forward to coming next year and every year thereafter. Congratulations to you and Passageways for a superb time. Thank you for being the great company you are. It was a pleasure and privilege to meet each and every one of you in person.
Jon Guenther (Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union)
I attended my first PowWow and this is what I liked best.
Accommodations - They couldn't have picked a better place, the suites, the food and the service A+++
The Passageways Team - the friendliest, smartest, enthusiastic group I've ever met.
The Conference - Best Practices was really good, seeing the pride in what they had accomplished and the creative talents was inspiring...(I loved Ken's presentation the most - LOVE HIM!)
The session led by Nathan & Anna was the coolest...their opening request that everyone open up and communicate their thoughts and ideas really engaged everyone and it felt more collaborative.
The How To Lounge - Thank you!!!!!!! Loved It
Stephanie & Steven provided us with some real meat and potatoes to take back to the office.
And the best part of PowWow.....MEETING DAVE SHOCKEY IN PERSON!!!!!!
Bridget D'Arcy Mahrle (Telcom Credit Union)
Ditto on the above, but sadly, I did not meet Dave Shockey. However, I did meet Gail a couple times. I absolutely think the best parts for me were the demos during two of the afternoon sessions. The Board Portal and the session on Communication - great! All of it.
I liked all of it. I am so glad I was able to attend. Next year will be even better because I will actually know people who connect online through the year.
Jane Anderson (CU*Answers)
As always a lot of good ideas to bring back with me, now to find the time to work on this and get us ready for P4. All at Passageways did a great job on the conference.
Mary Slonecker (IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union)
Now for some Wow moments from our Team:
Chuck Sigo - I'd have to say my moment was sitting in on Chris' session on UI design. It was like I was hit by a wave of inspiration and had to write down all of the ideas before they were swept away. I think Chris has a strange superpower to radiate inspiration for geeks.
Dave Shockey - My Favorite PowWOW memory was getting to spend time with the amazing customers I worked with throughout the year, and finally meeting them all face to face!
Anna Happ - the video of the PowWow on Wednesday is the "WOW" for me. The entertainment evening was truly memorable.
Andy Mills - I guess it would be all of the customer interaction in the lounge. IE...talking about new products/projects, demoing products, getting to know our customers on a personal level.
Bill Connors - my WOW was the unsolicited feedback I received from our customers and prospects about our great staff and the "over the top" service they provide and the quality and scope of our products.
Paroon Chadha - Chris's session on Play doh, and the need to do more of play doh stuff while we work and the contributions we made to charities
Sarah Moss - Seeing the customers interact with one another, share ideas and feedback, and learn from one another was definitely encouraging and enlightening. I continue to be "wowed" by the level of enthusiasm that our customers have about our products.
Nathan Deno - Hospitality suite with customers was great. We all had a good time telling jokes and stories. It was really low-key we just had a few drinks and maybe a couple of horrible mixed shots (by me)..... Shane, Steven, and I were there along with Mylinda from Fort Sill, Julie H from City National, Michael Douglass from Northrop Grumman, and Chris from Christian Community.
Cheers to everyone to made it so memorable!
