Passageways signs up 12 more portals

Closing in on 400 total portal installations

 Lafayette, IN, October 18, 2013:  Passageways, Indiana based enterprise portal solutions provider, has signed 12 new portal customers in  August and September, this year. This continues the trend of a healthy demand for Passageways Employee Portals, Board Portals, Vendor Management Portals and Community Portals. Passageways should end the year with more than 400 portals it supports, making it a clear market leader in the enterprise portal space.

Passageways has signed up 4 Board portals and 4 Employee portals in this recent new customer signups. Passageways also secured a Community Portal set up project with its partner Policyworks. This community portal will be serving about 2000 compliance professionals from more than 300 organizations making it a unique private network focused towards compliance in the credit union Industry.

The wide variety of solutions being demanded is a testimony to the flexible portal framework that powers every single project undertaken by Passageways team. These projects are helping Passageways customers to record impressive return on their investments, in the first few months itself.

"Passageways is benefiting from the renewed demand to increasing employee productivity and an increased  emphasis on internal efficiencies" said Paroon Chadha, CEO at Passageways. Paroon feels this is was a good end to the quarter as we saw balanced demand for all Passageways solutions.   He adds, "Our ability to attract a wide range of collaboration requirements is certainly our strength as we plan for the next phase of our business plan. Some of the new customers include Centra Credit Union, Lakeside Bank, Sunmark Federal Credit Union, Point Loma Credit Union, Policyworks, South Shore CVA and Genesse Regional Bank.

Besides this, Passageways continues to see a lot of existing customers come back to purchase new Passageways products. In fact, in the last quarter a total of 56 different purchases have been recorded. This is an impressive 20% of existing customers coming back to purchase more software or services in just last quarter. Rashmi Bijai, Director Customer Growth at Passageways says, "This has been an impressive run up to the last quarter. South Shore CVA Board of Directors go Paperless

Paperless less than a month and able to reduce the Board meeting duration

Hammond, IN, October 17, 2013:  The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority Board of Directors launched a new program to streamline access to board information, using iPads and personal computers, prior to and during the monthly meetings.

Paroon Chadha, co-founder and CEO of Passageways, welcomed the board and expressed the company's excitement in having the first convention and visitors bureau join the Passageways family during its  September monthly board meeting. "It was exciting to see a group move away from paper and easily become paperless in their boardroom using our platform. It is remarkable that their first paperless meeting was done so efficiently and was wrapped up a few minutes ahead of schedule".

Over the last year, the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority has redesigned their website and mobile site, installed a state-of-the-art video wall in the Indiana Welcome Center, implemented the use of Passageways Board Portal, and has made technological upgrades in their board room and theater. Upgrades to the W.F. Wellman Exhibit Hall will also be completed in the coming weeks.

"We have been able to streamline a lot of what we do because we have a forward -thinking CEO. We are  constantly looking for ways to better utilize the talents of our organization and make technological  advancements work for us and our visitors," said Luke Weinman IV, chief technology officer with the South Shore CVA.

According to Speros A. Batistatos, president and CEO of the South Shore CVA, the CVA's Board of Directors voted unanimously last month to implement Passageways Board Portal because of the clear benefits it offers.

 "Passageways Board Portal allows our board members easy access to important documents, agendas and a calendar of events before and during meetings, our board members were able to see the benefit in transitioning    to a completely paperless board packet," said Batistatos.

According to Stephanie Scott, Vice President of Customer Experience at Passageways, Board Portal serves a   range of industries including financial institutions, universities, marketing firms and energy co-ops. The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority is the first CVB in the state to utilize the technology.

"First and foremost, the primary benefits are efficiency and secure access to information," stated Scott. The monthly board packets will be able to be prepared more efficiently, resulting in cost savings for the organization. Cost savings will be seen in the time and resources that were previously spent compiling and preparing the traditional paper board packets.

"Immediately, a benefit the board can expect is the ability to access up-to-date information," said Scott.

"Our organization went with Passageways because it's an Indiana-based company that offered a product that    will meet our needs. It was the right fit to take us paperless," said Batistatos. "This tool is expandable, it can migrate to a newer version and it offered a user-friendly application that fit the board."

Scott noted that Passageways will be looking at how a CVB Board of Directors may be different or how the   board may share similar needs with other industry boards. "It's always exciting when we can welcome a new industry; it helps us understand their needs. We are excited to learn what the convention and visitors bureau industry needs," said Scott.

Passageways Moves to new Office Location

August 30th, 2013: This week Passageways completed a move to their new office location in the heart of Greater Lafayette, Indiana. The move signifies a new stride for the company who has been on a steady growth track since opening their doors in 2003. After 10 years of being in Purdue Reserach park (in the Purdue Fed Building), this move to larger offices is to  accommodate for recent and future growth.

While the new office is still under construction, the Pathfinders have made their new building, the historic Earl & Hatcher building which was built in 1893, their home already. Recent and future growth can be tied to the upcoming release  of new cloud based products focused on enhancing enterprise collaboration thorugh employee portals and board portals.

Passageways obtains Microsoft Partnership

July 3rd, 2013:  We are pleased to announce that, yesterday Passageways obtained Silver Certified Partner Status in the Microsoft Partner Program with a competency in Web Development.

To earn a Microsoft Silver Competency, Passageways had to demonstrate high quality of service and expertise. A description of projects our company has completed for several of our clients, and the client's references with respect to the implementation of these projects were checked by Microsoft and deemed consistent with Microsoft's standards for the Partner Program.

Additionally, the professionalism and technical knowledge of our software development and sales engineers were tested through rigorous MS exams, culminating in receipt of Microsoft Certified Professional (MСP) certificates.

The benefits provided through our Silver membership (training sessions, MS technical support, etc.) will allow us to further enhance our performance and the services offered to our customers.

This certification is the first step in the cross platform enablement of Passageways products including the upcoming Passageways OnBoard product.

Largest PowWOW yet marks 10 Years of Growth for Passageways

St Louis, MO May 6, 2013:  Passageways wrapped up their annual user conference, PowWOW, on Wednesday May 8th counting a record number of attendees with more than 150 customers from the Financial and Healthcare industries. The conference featured a variety of sessions on important industry related topics and also several guest speakers discussing new ideas, training, and education. Passageways also took the opportunity to unveil their latest product, Passageways OnBoard, a brand new tool for board room collaboration built on the latest cloud technologies.

DSC03642 resized 60010 Year Anniversary: PowWOW 2013 took place at the beautiful Renaissance Grand Marriot and marked the 10-year anniversary of the software company. Attendees were treated to champagne, games and music brought in from Passageways’ hometown in Indiana. A beautiful ice sculpture was the focal point for the room. Many of Passageways first customers were in attendance and shared in the emotional evening.

 

 

DSC 1065 resized 600The Besties: Each year PowWOW is the location for the annual Best Practice Awards ceremonies. Attendees are treated to customer presentations featuring various best practices for increasing productivity and ROI using Passageways software’s. Yearly, it is the most anticipated event of the conference. This year was no exception to the rule and saw Belco Community Credit Union, Our Community Credit Union, and Michigan Schools and Government CU, take home best practice awards for Best Development, Best Implementation, and Best Theme, respectively. All of the entrants to this year's Besties were amazing and it was a stiff competition!  This year Passageways also recognized the Luminaires. Luminaries are selected from some of Passageways earliest customers who helped build the company to where it is now, as well as previous year’s Best Practice Award winners.

Board Benchmark Survey: PowWOW was also the location for the unveiling of Passageways Annual Board Administrator and Directors benchmarking survey results. Board Portal Director, Anthony Dunkley, presented the findings from surveys collected from board of directors from around the globe, both Passageways customers and others. The results pointed to some interesting and unique trends taking place in the boardroom and amongst board assistants. Dunkley felt strongly that Passageways new solution will only help to facilitate these trends and improve the effectiveness of boards.

10 Years of Improving Collaboration and now serving 300 Organizations

Passageways closed out 2012 recording healthy growth. This includes double-digit top line growth y-o-y for 10 consecutive years, and significant bottom line growth by over 100% y-o-y. Passageways also crossed the 300 mark on individual portals sold, with more than 150 of these portals being added in the last 2 years.

 

"2013 is our 10 year Anniversary and we have big plans to make it an amazing year". Paroon Chadha said when asked about plans to follow up the 2012 progress.

 

Chadha, Co-Founder, who was named CEO of Passageways earlier in 2012, went on to say "This year we continue to invest in the latest technology trends including mobile and cloud technology with some exciting new products on the horizon. Passageways today announced that Paroon Chadha has been elected to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Passageways, effective October 1, 2012. Chadha, who co-founded Passageways with Christopher Beltran in 2003, had previously served as Vice President of Sales & Implementations.

Mr. Chadha is a frequent speaker at conferences and is published widely by Inc. Magazine, Bank Systems and Technologies, Credit Union Times, and Bank Technology News. His previous experiences include consulting roles at Prudential Financial and sales and marketing roles at Wipro Ltd., a Mumbai-based conglomerate.

Mr. Chadha has an engineering degree from Punjab Engineering College and an MBA from Purdue University. He continues to teach entrepreneurship and mentor students at Purdue University.

July 12th, 2012 (West Lafayette, IN)- Passageways team has reached another milestone as it now serves more than 300 customers across North America.  This come s as result of another good quarter with 33% growth in revenue compared to the Q2 , 2011. Overall for the year, Passageways has now recorded 32% growth compared to the first half of last year. There has been a continued growth in leads leading to 25 new contracts spanning Employee Portal, Board Portal and Community Portal offering. The team has also seen significant improvement in its bottom line in these past 6 months allowing the team to make significant investment in Cloud and mobile technologies for the future and the management remains bullish for the rest of the year.

"We see a clear path to growing more than 40% this year and are making several investments to leverage our strengths in the marketplace", say Paroon Chadha, Co-Founder.
